Biometrics for dependent only ..

Guys and Gals,

Last week I got an email stating that an RFE has been issued on my wifes 485 application. I am the primary filer on the application. Anyway, today I got an FP notice in the mail stating that USCIS needs to capture my wifes biometrics in order to process her application. The date of the RFE and the date on the notice are the same so I am pretty sure that this is the RFE. Both of us completed our FPs on the 15th of February and from what I can remember they only took my FPs and no biometrics. The puzzling thing is that they have not sent any RFE for biometrics on my case? Anyone has any idea as to why that might be?

I think you are nearing the approval stage since they ask for biometrics.

Sethumadhavan,

I think you received biometrics for your whole family. Was an RFE issued or did you just receive notices out of the blue. Could you please post the time line of your notices and subsequent events.
