Biometrics for Case from VSC to TSC transfer - currently in INDIA URGENT

Hello gurus,

We received Biometrics code 1 notice today,

My spouse is currently in INDIA and we both have a biometrics code 1 scheduled for 2nd week of MAY,

Is it okay to postpone her date ?

Please let me know

Similar situation here. I sent back my wife's original notice along with a request to reschedule. I did this per my lawyer's suggestion. I was originally planning to take her notice and hand it to the ASC folks personally when I go for my own FP. But lawyer suggested that I send this my track-able mail and that they might refuse to accept it in person because I am not my wife.

I have specifically asked for a new date in July. If they send me another notice before my wife is back, then I will simply request for another reschedule.
 
I called Customer Service number and they told me to do the same, I will send out the notice today,

Did you attach any other documentation to the notice (any cover letter)?

Can you ask your lawyer if this will affect the processing of I485 for the applicant as a result of the reschedule.
