Biometrics Code 2 and Code 3 - Difference

Today my wife (primary) and me got notice for the Biometrics FP. Primary has code 3 and mine has code 2. Whats is the difference between these code?

This is our second FP. When we did first time, mine was ok. But my wife's had problems and did a re finger printing after a month and that too had problem. Called FBI and they informed that the FP was not clear enogh to run accross the database.

Code 2 is for biometrics only (index FP and photo)
Code 1 is the regular 10 finger FP
and Code 3 is both.

Most biometric notices are Code 2 if your current prints are still "valid" - else its code 3.
