I wanted to share my experience with you guys.
I had my biometrics appointment for I-765 (11am, code 2) and I-485 (1pm, code 3) this morning. Due to the weather and uncertain conditions on the road I started early, but since the roads where fine I came there almost an hour ahead. I passed the security check and was directly pointed to a counter, although about 10 other people were already waiting in the seating area.
Anyway, I happened to have a very nice and friendly officer to whom I presented my passport and the ASC Appointment Notices for both my cases. I had to fill out a form with my personal dates as name, date and place of birth, current address and telephone number, height, weight, eye and hair color. It took like another 2 minutes when this officer called me into a room where fingerprints and photos were taken, all digitally, no ink involved. Finally I had to sign digitally. The officer told me that now I'm done with all biometrics for both my applications.
The procedure didn't even took 10 minutes at all. He handed me my passport back, stamped both my ASC Appointment Notices with a "Biometrics Processing Stamp" and there I was ready to hit the road again. It wasn't even 11am, the original time of my first appointment. What a nice surprise.
