Hi all,
I've been searching through the forums here and have found some great information. I had a small question though.
I've been a legal resident since 1996. In 2000 I was arrested on a felony theft charge. The charges were dropped by the state of FL and my record was expunged in 2004.
My biometrics appointment is 4/23 in Charleston, SC and I am planning to go to the Clerk of Courts in Miami-Dade on 4/20 to get a final disposition of my case. Any idea if I can even get a final disposition due to the fact my record has been expunged? I want to be open and honest with the USCIS but I don't want to show up empty handed when they ask about my background or waste my time going to Miami and finding out there are no records available.
Any information or ideas would be very much appreciated.
