Big guy's letter for NIW RFE

Hi, all,

I try to get a letter from a big guy in my field for my NIW RFE. In his total 4 page letter (he prefer to write his own letter instead of using mine), he introduce himself in one full page, I guess he just copy and paste his resume, actually he really is a big guy, have lots of titles, he even got a award honored by Present Bush.

But my question is, is his introduction about himself too much? (of course other 2 more pages is about me) somebody mentioned before, if the referee is too strong, may make you a small person instead of outstanding?

Any comments are welcome? Do I need to talk with him if I have some space?

I believe that it's absolutely FINE. For most of my letters, I also attached CVs of the referees (not 1 page but 10-15 pages for each) just to show who are they and that they have enough expertise to judge upon my work. This strategy worked in my case.
Hey, he wrote 1 page about himself, but the remaining 2 pages are about your accomplishments, aren't they? I think nothing is wrong with this approach. The main thing is to show that this big guy endorsed your petition, that you have accomplished something truly outstanding that this guy with his level of expertise found worth his attention. So the main part is about your work, make sure it's phrased strongly enough. Don't worry about his credentials and how much of space they take.

The best of luck!
