Beyond normal processing time

All, I just checked the VSC processing timelines and my I-485 processing is now officially delayed.
My RD is May 12, 2006 and according to https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/Processtimes.jsp?SeviceCenter=VSC the processing date is May 18th, 2006.

What are my options now? Can I contact USCIS? I know this will be perfectly useless.

What should be my next step?

Thanks,

Hi ,
I think these days we cannot trust anymore these "processing dates" , they just post them to show to everybody that they do their work properly , but behind that , they still do what they want to do !!! You can contact USCIS , but you'll receive just ...no reliable answers !!! That's the way the system works these days !!! Good luck !!!

True.
But I'm trying to follow all recommended processes and make sure that I've tried every possible approach to get my care resolved in time.
Then I plan to go for a WOM.
So, what should be my next step?
Thanks,

As per their policy, you will need to wait till you are 30 days behind current processing dates. Then you can call and open an inquiry. Not that it helps .. I opened one in Novemver 2006 and haven't got a reply yet.

Yeah, I'll go thru the charade of an inquiry once I'm past 30 days.

I just talked to an attorney who said that unless I'm past 6 months there is really nothing meaningful that can be done.

So sleep for six months, I guess.

I wish I could go to sleep till I get my GC like Rip Van Winkle but I'm afraid I might never wake up ... :D
