Better I-485 service at BCIS

i think BCIS could provide better service with a little more effort, for example, everyday they can report daily summary (at 5:00 PM) on their website like

***** Today's I-485 Processing Report *****
o Today's Date: June 17, 2003
o Service Center: Vermont
o # of New Applications Received: xxxx
o # of Approvals: xxx
o # of RFE sent/received: xxx/xxx
o # of Local Transfers: xxx
o # of Denials: 0 (hopefully^^)
o We are officially processing: Dec 15, 2001

... something like that. I think it can be done with ease on this digitized/computerized planet.

Why they want to disclose this? Why they want to improve their service? why they want outside to know they are having good time at work!

They like this whole thing a black box, so you can't complain, can't sue them, can't do anything about it.

They don't like us, man.

I don't think this will ever happen, unless congress tells them to do so.
For some weird reason, they love backlog, because that translates to job security and more money (you keep renewing your EAD or AP).
They just don't care!

THAT is definitely a stretch for BCIS

if they do that - we wont need most of the trackers we keep coming up with.

Would be wonderful if it did happen though.

is there some one/ place at BCIS we coud send such sugggestions to (inspite of the possiblity of it being ignored)??

Hmmmm..... is this the same "weird" reason that AILA (immig. lawyers) also doesn't really worry about the backlogs/delay ^^ ??

ABSOLUTELY!
Think about this scenario: the longer your case gets delayed, the better the chance that you come across a situation where you want/need to find a new job (for whatever reason). And guess what? Without AC21 regulations, the lawyers will be 'happy' to assist you. Now, since this changing job is not part of the original contract (filing the LC, I-140, I-485 and the first EAD and AP), they will charge you additional fees!

I don't think they delay our cases because of money. I think the major reason is job depression, think yourself, reading all materials of different cases(so many different scenarios), that's MOST BORING job of the world, never mention the low pay (20k-30k a year). If I get this "dream " job, I'll die at work.

They do this job for the paycheck. They never see us. They don't know who we are. Why they give us favorable considerations?

When you're a TA at school, when you grade exams or homework, do you have emotions in it? Nah, just for living, right?

That's why. Plus the system is very old. I bet they complain about their job every day at home, just like we do.

But for us, this small card determines your life. You can't change jobs, can't travel to foreign countries, can't say no to your boss........

......

DO Not say that .....

If you have ONLY 2 choice:
1. Death
2. Clean the Toilet

will you choose 2 ..or die just like a dog
You definitely choose 2 :D:D
