Hi, DO u guys know any Good indian Immigration Lawyer in Bay area. Write some personal experience if u have.

I got RFE from INS For I-485.
Don't know what to do. Requested paper which i don't have.
INS asking me about Proof of Member of organisation.
I-485 nd August2001.

Do you have a copy of the I-485 you submitted? Did you write that you were member of some organization? If so, they are asking for proof of that. If you have any proof (which could be a receipt for dues paid, a photo of you in front of a banner--what ever) that could work. It is understood that asylees often dont have luxury of collecting documentation before getting out, and sometimes getting caught with the documentation could mean death or torture, so I dont think not having the proof would be a big deal if you explain it properly. But by all means talk to a lawyer.
