begun work while waiting for OPT

i graduated may 10, 2002. INS received my EAD application and sent me a receipt date april 10, 2002. i began internship june 3rd while waiting for e.a.d. card to arrive.

what happens when i apply for H-1B? am i in trouble?!!

I dont think one can start work unless the OPT is approved. Consult an attorney for expert advice and to prepare a plan of action.
