I applied for extension of stay for my mom 30 days before her I-94 expires. While applying, I applied along with original of her I-94. The receipt notice sent by USCIS says that it takes between 150 days and 180 days to process the application. So, my mom's I-94 will have been expired by the time she knows the result. What is she supposed to do now?
1. Does she have to leave before her I-94 expires or can she wait until she receives approval/rejection notice from USCIS?
2. If she has to leave before her I-94 expires, how can she travel as her original I-94 has been submitted to USCIS?
