Before Interview

My interview coming on mid of March. Two things still need to be clarified:

1/ When I entered US first time, I was older than 26 years old. In this case, do I still need to obtain the "status information letter" for selective service registration?
2/ I already have IRS's tax return transcripts for recent 4 years. Do I still need to obtain irs's "1722 letter"?
