OK, so here are our experiences.
We went for the interview yesterday (it was scheduled six months ago). We got there, and the interviewer said he did not have our file with him. He said: "The file is somewhere in the building but I don't know where". He did not even know that we filed all our applications 2 years ago and I had to show him our receipts. So, he went through our documentation and was satisfied with it and said that basically he approves our case, but cannot do anything until he finds our file. He said he would look for it and when he finds it, he would call us back if necessary.
We applied in 3/2005. Got interview in 9/2005 but had to reschedule because we moved to another state. Got a letter for another interview in 12/2006 with the scheduled date for 5/2007.
Any thoughts?
