Dear All,
Out of the blue, my company found some LC sub for me. The POs are not approved yet for its filing. It might take another week or so.
Today from another website, www.immigration-law.com, I found that on Monday (7th May 2007), LC substitution elimination rule schedule will be published to federal register.
==========
05/04/2007: LC Substitution Elimination Final Rule Rease Schedule Update
OFLC is not scheduled to publish this final next Monday, May 7, 2007. For those who need substitution, this delay in publishing of the final rule in the federal register may be considered a blessing as the delay will give them an extended opportunity to file a substitution I-140 petition today if the labor certification has been certified, or to achieve the amendment of the pending labor certification application if the labor certification has yet to be certified. We will keep the readers updated of the OFLC's schedule of release of the final rule in the federal register
===========
Does this mean that LC subs cannot be made as of 7th May 2007? Even murthy.com has been expecting this rule to be published (http://www.murthy.com/nflash/nf_043007.html talks about it).
What is the expert opinion?
Thanks
Gaurav
