It seems that the failure rate of FP is quite significant recently. We can see a lot of reports that their FP results are specified "unclear" and rejected by FBI. So, be sure to call (304)625-5590 and check the result 2~3 days after your FP is done.
Once your FP was rejected by FBI, there is no cure except waiting for the 2nd FP notice. If your FP is done in an INS office, you may ask the INS officer to check the result from FBI on their computer and let you redo it. But if your FP is done in an ASC (it\'s specified in the notice, you have no option), they don\'t allow you to redo FP without an INS notice. The time delay due to it is your own business, not their business.
Maybe because of that, many people received more than one FP notice. The time interval between two FP notices is variable. If you received 2nd or 3rd FP notice, please don\'t ignore it unless you are very sure that your previous FP result has been qualified by FBI and received by INS.
