BCIS's biggest hurdle is over

It appears that the heaviest I-485 months (July-November, '01) will soon be completed. BCIS should be able to reduce processing time significantly.

FYI:
EAC-02-061 (12/12/02 ND - mostly Nov '01 RDs ): Total 1408, I-485 cases;
EAC-02-056 53xxx only (12/6/02 ND mostly Nov'01 RDs) 270 I-485 cases (can be easily over 1500 for all >= 50xxx);
EAC-02-164-5xxxx (4/17/02 ND – mostly Apr'02 Rds) Total 508 I-485 cases (about 1/3 of a typical Nov'01 ND)

I'll start post EAC-02-164-5xxxx information in a couple of weeks and then once a while.

I kind of agree

If you see Rupnet the number people in dec 2001 and jan 2002 are also less. I hope that they still work on the gc process instead of rellocating the work forces to other part like I-140

I kind of agree that there are some heavy months and some light months. In one of some earlier threads i have disagreed that the
application volume varies significantly from one month to another.
I thought that the law of averages will not support that point .
How ever when you look at the I485 Tracker forum (see the link at the top of this forum), it is surprising that tracking threads are created only for March'02, July'02, Sept'02 and October'02. If there are large number of applicants in other months, they could
also have created their thread. It leads me to believe that for 2002, the application volumne might be very low for Jan,Feb,April,May and June.
