BciS did not touch a new 02-041 case since April 8

Assuming that BciS does not make direct approvals nowadays, I was interested in only those cases that changed status from Resumed to RFE sent. Those are most likely primary applicant cases touched by officers for the first time.

Surprisingly:
1. The most latest case was on April 8th - that is more than three weeks ago!
2. Only 8 new such cases have been touched since March 10!!!

The bottom line is that the current average rate of picking up new cases from the shelf is 1 per week, and it's absolute ZERO for the last three weeks.

Another bottom line, is that our chances of getting approved are getting laughably SMALL.

stain, I've seen a slowdown in 02-46 too .. though not absolute zero .. but it is slowing down again .. and that frankly .. bothers me.

I bet for 02-046 it's about 1 per week too, am I wrong?

So, in average, half of untouched cases are primary ones, that's around 100 left for our NDs.

So, it's 100 weeks more to process them, well, with 0.0 speed of wac02-041 it's a positive infinity.

WAC-02-041 approvals in 2003

Comparing with other dates of November 2001, it seems almost the same.
But, I'm looking forward to seeing the result of your analysis.

Kashmir,

Those approvals came from already "touched" cases.
Some of them from RFE recvd, and some of them for secondary applicants.

30+ cases approved, that's about 1/3 of the July/September 2002 approval rate (80-100). Not good, but not bad at the same time, if you remember dec02-feb03 rate was 1-5 cases per month per series.

Totally, during April only 79 new cases were changed to "RFE received" from "Resumed"

That's about 0.5% of all cases registered by Kashmir.

Below is the April Statistics of "Picking brand new primary applicant cases from the shelf".

Estimate the number of primary applications yet to be touched for your WAC day by taking half of all currently Resumed cases.
Then do the rest of the math to estimate your waiting time.
