Cart :)

No, you cannot apply for US citizenship now. Greencard is a first step towards a citizenship. You have been married for 3 yrs, but the only advantage is that you will be issued a 10 yr greencard, not a US citizenship. However, you need to have held a greencard for 2yrs and 9 months to your US spouse to be eligible for US citizenship.

You need to apply for your greencard as soon as possible, to be able to position yourself to apply for US citizenship in the next couple of years. Why didn't you apply for your greencard when you got married?

I am not married to a USC :p

I just mis-read the instructions for N400, you are right about having the greencard for 3 years.
