I have a very basic question that probably due to my lack of understanding, I'm unable to comprehend.
My spouse was an LPR and I was on an H1 when we married. Then we filed an I-130 from VSC about 15 months back. Now she is awaiting her oath letter and should (I hope and pray) be a citizen soon.
Now from different postings and faqs I know that we need to "upgrade" our I-130 after the oath and file for the AoS with all the different forms/apps that go along. What I'm confused about is the sequence.
Does she write in to "upgrade" the i-130 and I file the 485 app simultaneously or does she "upgrade" we wait for an approval and then file for a 485 ? My 130 should definitely become current after upgrade since VSC 130 processing is quite current.
