My wife's birth certificate was issued by "Vadodara" Municipal Corporation, however her passport shows the city of birth as "Baroda". Her parents have provided us with affidavits confirming and swearing her birth in "Baroda".
Baroda and Vadodara are the same city.
I am wondering if that difference in what the passport says and what the BC shows may cause an issue.
For now, I have gotten my wife to sign a letter explaining that Baroda and Vadodara are the same and that can refenced at a Wikipedia URL. I am not sure if that will suffice.
