Bankruptcy ( Back Ground Pending)

well am still waiting for my cleanance from the FBI OR USCIS, since August 2003 l appy for Naturalazation, passed my test but only cleanance to get my Oath. l have decide to file Bankruptcy, Would this affect my pending case

You will need to declare this prior to oath and could cause issues.

Not sure that you need to declare it. When you get your oath notice, all you have to do is complete the questionaire in the back. There is nothing there about bankruptcy.

I believe that anything in civil (as opposed to criminal) court need not be disclosed unless your asked, with the exception of divorce, child custody/support, etc.

Since bankruptcy is certainly not a crime, it probably won't affect you.

Well l have already passed the imtervirew long time since 2003, just waiting for my Oath, but want to file bankruptcy this year

I don't think bankruptcy itself will cause you problems, but if you also owe the IRS, that could be an issue.

As an aside, if you've been waiting on namecheck since 2003, isn't it time to sue USCIS?
