Bank Statements/Credit Card statements?

Hi All,

I still have some time to apply for my NATZ. However, I figured I'd find out from all the guru's out there...

Do I need to collect bank statements and credit card statements as a part of documenation for NATZ?

Short answer: No.

Long answer: If your green card was based on marriage to a U.S. citizen it could be good to collect bank/credit card statemenst, apartment leases, car loan information, tax returns, things like that. For a regular employer based green card it is not needed.

Or, if you have traveled a lot and your residence might be an issue - but then you'd need those things from the time you were traveling, not now.

Speedy1027, I would say it is not needed. But you never know! Collect whatever docs you might obtain, excess docs wouldn't hurt your Natz. I have collected my credit history from all the 3 bureaus, just in case. If they ask, I would produce it, otherwise I'll keep it in my bag!
