Hi,

Do we have to get a consolidated bank statement for 1 yr? Or Is it enough if we carry the regular monthly statements for last 3 or 4 months?.

Please post your experience.

You can carry the last 6 months statements. In addition to this you should also get a Consular Letter from your bank, which clearly indicates the date you have opened the account, current and average balance.

Re bank statement

Hi sumathi,
I recently completed my CP interview at mumbai. They did not ask for any bank statements or salary slips etc. But still I would suggest you carry a recent 2-3 bank statements and 2-3 salary slips. Thats it. The main documents for CP interview are the employment letter, passport, BC and PCC and the forms. If you have this then no problems at all. According to my experience CP interview is not a big deal if you have the above documents in place. Most imp is the employment letter.
