Bank Statement & Affidaviat of Support

Dear all
the Embassy told to me that to get an Affidavit of Support & bank statement to get the Visa
is it both needed ? mean Affidavit of Support & Bank Statment
or I must get only the Affidavit of Support ?

Are you saying that a family of seven, {that is five children and H&W}with bank balance of abouth US$100,000.00 dont need a US sponsor?

I'm individual, and I haven't enough money, but I have a sponsor in U.S
and the Embassy gave me a paper to get both : affidaviat of Support and Bank Statement.
and my question is :
Is it both needed ?
or one of them is enough ?
I mean what if I have only the Affidaviat of support from sponsor, and no Bank Statment ?

If the Embassy asked for both then I recommend you get both, even if you have little or no money in the bank. If they asked for one OR the other, then just get the A of S

My brother only GOD can tell you what will happen with your case if you are not able to provide bank statement as demanded;So l advice that hand everything over to HIM and HE will see you to victory if this is your time.You can also pray in your time, l hope you feel me

If you don't have a bank account then just explain this to the Embassy, or if yuo have any money at all, open an account and put your money in it. The Embassy aren't out to catch you out, or look for reasons not to issue your visa, so as long as you have a sponsor I don't think how much money you have will be a big problem.
