Banamex payment voucher/DD for Tijuana, Mexico

Hi friends,
Just wanted to know that if my friend can get
me the payment voucher/Draft (for $100) from Banamex in Tijuana prior to my H1B
appointment. One of my friends is going for his stamping 3 days before I am going.
So he has offered to get a draft for me as well. Is this ok? I am planning
on sending him copies of my passport and the appointment letter. Should this be sufficient..
Please advise..
 
Why don't you want to buy it when you go there on your appointment day? I don't see any advantage of getting it earlier. You don't need to go day before. Same day as your appointment is fine.

Your friend only needs your passport. Not sure if photo copies are ok.. I don't see why not. You should be able to call Banamex branch if you can find their phone no.
