i visited the Baltimore offices today for passport stamping.
I arrived at 8:40am, took a number, showed documents and 20 mins later they took my i94 card from my passport, and i gave two signatures and an index fingerprint. I then sat down for another 20 mins for security clearance to be completed. I was then called up for passport stamping - processing i-651 valid until may 2003.
They did not take my current H1b or EAD from me.
