Hi everyone

I have finger printing appointment, I know that cell phone is not allowed to take into the office, do they provide locker to leave the stuff or they do not allow such provision

Thanks in advance

At Newark, NJ, I saw people turning off their cell and taking it inside. The security guard even asked one guy telling him he is fine if it's turned off. I did not see a locker or anything as such. I guess it might vary from location to location. I left mine in the my car.

Thank you so much for your quick reply

I was at the Baltimore office yesterday with my wife for a INFOPASS appointment. I had my cell phone in my pocket and put it in the tray for the security checkpoint and wasn't told anything. However, at the Baltimore office INFOPASS appointments are handled in Room 101 and the waiting room for USCIS scheduled appointments (GC interview and N-400 interviews) is next door in Room 103. If I remember, there were no signs regarding cell phones in Room 101, but I believe there are sings in Room 103 informing you that you need your cell phone off before being called into the back.

Years ago, I used my cell phone out in the hallway at the Baltimore office and no one said anything to me.
