Mine got transferred to Baltimore on 2/13/01, had interview on 4/19/01. The officer, who, according to my lawyer is new at her job, did not stamp my passport saying that I had too much papers in my file and she needed more time to review my file. Still waiting to hear from them.

    COuld you post the documents that they asked. Did they ask the general check list , if so did that have 140 package and labour certification package.

Could anybody please tell me how to transfer my case from VSC to Baltimore office? It should be done by myself or my lawyer? What\'s the major benefit?

This is Nandit. I did take everything they asked for in the checklist including my Labor Cert. package as well as I-140 approval notice.

I think it is done by VSC. No particular reason, I believe
to transfer load as well. My lawyer did not request transfer.
I received notice of transfer today and mine was transferred
to Baltimore office last April 27.
