This morning I went to the interview. Officer D called me exactly on time.
And this is what followed
Swearing to tell the truth, asked for ID, EAD and passport.
Looked through my files, asked when I joined my company and what I do.
Asked for my I-94, followed by employment letter and 3paystubs.
Said my file and documents looks fine, however she could not stamp my
passport. The reason being that they have not received my paperwork. It will take 90days, but whichever comes first (90days or paperwork), they will call me for stamping.
Gave me back my EAD and said they will take it away when I go for stamping.
I guess my waiting game continues
(I know INS had sent my paperwork to my country for consular processing, but I opted for AOS-I485).

I am sorry to hear that. Hope you will get your\'s soon.
Did your I-140 says anything your papers are sent to NVC (New Hampshire....) something like that. I have not opted for Consular but my 140 approval says that. I read a discussion about this long time back on this board. Just curious because I know almost all my friend\'s 140 approval read the same way as sent to NVC......but none of them opted for Consular processing. Just want to make sure in your case what it was exactly.
Any input is appreciated,
Thanks

HI EMI
Which paperwork you are talking about here? I think that paperwork is transferred from VSC to INS local office then only they scedule an interview.
I am confused when you say that officer told you that they dont have your paperwork.Did you ask then what paperwork they dont have?
Please post your reply and others too

Sorry I forgot my ND. Its 10/2000
And yes my I140 said it has been sent to NVC.
NVC sent me a letter saying that my paperwork has been sent to my country. Since I was not in a position to do a CP, I opted for AOS-I485. I guess that is the paper work they are waiting for.

What paper work you are talking about?
Did you opted for CP first and then changed to I485?
You can very well ask them what paper work they are looking at?
