I went to Baltimore INS just to check on the status of my I-485. They stopped me at the gate saying that I have to fix an appointment via "INFOPASS". I had been just walking in till last time( 2 months back or so).
I am posting this just to let you folks know about this in case you are not aware.
May be I am the last to hear about this...
