I just called Senator Macluski's Office. I spoke to the caseworker dealing with immigration. I have been building my case to file so i have to follow the steps of talkign to someone. She said that the Baltimore Office is actually checking now, checking every week to see who has cleared the background check. She said what they are doing is actually really pushing the FBI to get these cleared up. She said that this year, that things are starting to move finally. She also said that Senator Macluski is talking to Congress about getting the FBI more funding to get things moving. Also, she said, the wait is in the hundreds. Interesting bit of information. USCIS is only allowed to ask the FBi to expedite 100 background checks per month and that is used up in the first month. Having said that, this still doesn't help my case, so i am moving forward with my lawsuit. Almost finished editing my 1447b and i should be taking it in to the court by the end of the week.
