I went to China to meet a girl whom I had met online. After two and half months there, we decided to get married. Since I didn't have the "Certification of Single Status" I had to get "Certification of Marriageability" from the US Consulate there. It basically will say that I was single and able to marry.
Unfortunately, due to the amount of people committing false marriage to come to the US, people at the Consulate questioned us ridiculously, and founded our marriage to false and refuse to give the certification.
I would like to know whether this will leave a black mark on the record and whether it will effect my wife when I put in the petition for her to come to the US.
