Advisory on Processing Times

In the past few months, USCIS has received a significant increase in the number of applications filed. As a result, processing times will likely become longer for applications filed after June 1, 2007.

USCIS is working hard to address the increased volume and will continue to provide additional information on application processing times as it becomes available. For more information, please see our Frequently Asked Questions on receipt delays.

I found this on USCIS website and I am totally heart-broken.

Which was why I was totally shocked that they made all categories for 485 current in July. That tipped the boiling pot over. This one will take a long time to fix.

It was only confirming what we knew already.

Interestingly enough, some applications are taking shorter times... like an AP approved in 2 weeks... or the whole process in 3 months... who knows.

Do not take it all as bad news - July filers are now getting their IL letters most with Interview dates within 2007. Keep your fingers crossed!
