Bad dates on my AR-11s

The dates some of the four AR-11s I filed over the last five years are off by a few weeks to a few months. I am filling in N-400 for citizenship now, and am putting in the correct change of address dates, based on apartment lease start and termination dates.

Can I correct the dates on my previously filed AR-11s? How? Can I simply refile them with "Correction" written across the envelop?

Do I need to engage an experienced lawyer?

In my opinion, consistency beats strict correctness (certainly in a matter as trivial as a "change of address" being off by a couple of weeks or months).

No one ever told me I had to file AR-11s. My interview is Monday -- hopefully that won't be an issue (as my lawyer said: "you are required to tell them that you changed your address, your N-400 is such a notice").

My wife, exact same situation as me (but with an interview last May and her oath in June) had no problems.
