Backlogs, Priority Dates and Retrogression

interesting article about backlogs and PD's....article says that further retrogression is expected for EB2 and EB1 categories....PD's might retrogress up to 5 years in some cases..

i think we're seeing quick approvals of I-140's for the reason that once the BRC or BECs start approving the labor certifications...we'll see a huge increase in the number of 140 applications so my guess is that USCIS wants to clear as many 140's as early as possible.

Going by this article, I guess the logic of approving 140s very quickly makes a lot of sense. TSC has already started doing that. But things change on a monthly basis and who knows what will hapeen in a few months. Luckily my PD is current but TSC has found different ways to screw up my case.
