Backlog for RFEs

Just got off the phone with VT. The IIO said that they are running a backlog in generating RFEs!! Mine issued on August 30th (confirmed) has not been typed up yet. Hoping to reduce that in the next 3 weeks.
What are these guyz doing!!!!
 
My RFE was requested on 8/14/02. It was typed and mailed on 9/11/02. Simple RFE for employment letter, a months pay stub, W2 and 1040 for 2001.
You should get yours by the end of the month.
 
There can be of many kinds. Most common are ofcoarse employment & medical. But it can be for marriage certificate (if you recently got married), birth certificate etc.
