I read about this law that the president of USINS spoke about. It says all the applications filled to INS will be procced for no longer than 6 months. The reorganization in INS will be done till the end of 2006. So my question is I'm an asylee granted august 2001 but filed I 485 august 2002, Is this law going to include all the casses including and asylee???That means I should expect my green card in about year or two...Please someone answer...

I don't think this will apply to asylee 485 cases. The limitation on the asylees is that there is only 10,000 visas available annually. According to law, they cannot issue anymore than that.

Looks Like they are ahead of schedule this year and they are chopping the backlog but it could be the result of more denials or not receicing timely responses for RFEs from some asylees.

Vaitbajaram, what are you saying ,granted asylum in 2001 and applied for GC at the same year .please elaborate your question.
