Background check

My RD is Aug 2001 and ND Sep 2001. I contacted the senetors office and they contacted me saying that my the TSC is doing my background check. I have not seen any change on the online message. Any body in my same situation

That answer doesn't make much sense. Could you post your details. When did you do your FP?
My wife and I have the same RD & ND. We also asked for the assistance of our congressman a month and a half ago but no response has been received. How long did it take your congressman to respond?

I contacted the senators office two weeks ago. They have asked me to wait 30 days. I do not usderstand what is taking so long. I am eb 2.

I called FBI and they said my fingerprints were cleared the same day.

I have so wait and see. I dont know what background check is all about?

My ND is 8/10/2001, FP on 2/25/04, the online msg has not changed a bit it still says application rxed and bla...bla..bla


Today I have contacted the Congressman Office, Senator's Office and USCIS customer service. All of them said to wait couple of weeks




I am now :confused: and :mad:

It looks like the three of us are in very similar situations.. It will very interesting to see who gets approved first.

Is any one aware of what this backgound check is all about and how long it takes? I am in KY.
