I talked with an IIO today who said that my case was assigned to an Officer but the file has been returned back to the Pool as of Today(I understand Pool means a list of Pending Applications)
She could not find any reason(RFE etc) why that had been done. She said that she would send a mail to the Officer to get the reason & also took my Ph. No.(She could not tell when the case had been assigned to an Officer)

Do you know any reason why that would be done?????

How did you get the notice for your second FP?

Hello,
I had my first FP done in Jan00. I talked to an IIO last week and she said she would send the notice for 2nd FP but she also said it may take 2 months to do that. I wonder what you did to get the 2nd fp done.

All i did was to talk to the IIO to inform that my 1 FP had expired & the IIO sent a mail to his supervisor to send the 2 FP. It took 2 months from that time to get them.( Talked first in June 1st week & got the notice in 1 week of Aug)

I did Phone/fax again but used to get the standard reply "info sent to Supervisor & FP Notice would be sent when dates are available"

You may try your luck and take courtesy copy or original FP notice to the
nearest ASC to do the fingerprinting. This has worked in some cases in
certain states. It is at discretion of the ASC supervisor to let you do it.
