Back in the waiting Game

Hi,
My passport was stamped on Feb 22.
I have not received any cards yet.
  I have seen posting of people who have got their stamping after
   me and have received their cards.
   
  I saw an earlier posting about where the local INS office misplacing paperwork.
 ....Fellow Waiters...please advice me on this

I had gotten my passsport stamped end of Dec \'00; never got the card until end of March \'01 when I called the local INS; the IIO said that his system did not show a I89 (the paperwork that u fill out when stamping) submitted for me; he asked me to go back into the local INS and re-submit my paperwork; I went back to the Dallas INS end last week and am praying for it to not get messed up again....

Can you please tell me what paperwork you submitted again.
they kept my EAD, I-94,approval copy, the first time. What can I submit now?

I am in a similar situation PP stamped Jan \'01

  I called INS today and asked them about my Card

   He said ..its tooooo soon.
   I asked if you see the I89 in the system??
    He said yes to it.
   
     From the discussion I assumed ..It is still pending.....but it
  still does not make sence because, I have friends who got stamped a
  after me in the same service center and got their cards..
   ....God .This is a mess

I took the original copy of my appr notice from my employer and made a copy of it for myself; along with this, I took photos and the usual finger-printing you do when there; I asked the officer about the I94 (I did\'nt have one since I submitted the original last time around) - she said it\'s fine; she stamped my passport again for a year starting the day I was there. I am keeping my fingers crossed now.

I had a pleasant surprise last eve when I got home - my card was in the mailbox!!!
It is just 2.5 weeks from the time I got my passport stamped!
It is such a relief!
