Baby Born in the US

Me and wife are on B-1 visa (visit) that is still valid till the moment. My wife gave birth a week ago to our new born baby, who in turn became a US citizen.

I was wondering if me and my wife are eligible to obtain green card during our visit while we're on the B-1 visa, since our new born baby is a US Citizen. If so then what would be the procedures to be taken?

Wait until the baby turned 18 years old, and ask the baby if he/she could apply petition for you both in family based visa. Then once he/she files petition, it will probably take another 10 -15 years for your visa number to become available. Now looking at current senario, I would not hope for my baby an ultimate source for my green card.
