Hi,
I'm planning to invite my in-laws this summer. I have a question regarding the documents. Do I need to send two sets of all the reqd. documents (one for my father-in-law and one for my mother-in-law) or just one set is good enough.

Please advice.

Normally it would be good for them to be able to prepare a complete set
indiviually.

I am also in the same situation and this is what I did:

1) My personal invitation to them - Seperate originals
2) Employment Letter - Seperate originals
3) My letter to the Consulate General - Seperate originals
4) I-134 - Seperate originals of course!
5) W-2s / Pay stubs - Seperate copies
6) Green card (mine/spouse's) , Passport copies (mine/spouse's), Bank statements - Seperate set of copies
7) Tax filings for the last 3 years- 1 set.

Do not send them separately. I 've applied with my mom, with one invitation and got a visa. A friend of mine and a friend of her were applying for an interview separately and only the guy took the visa. The girl had been refused.
It is never sure, but my advice is , send 1 invitation or package of documents.
Not separately
