Hello All,
I took a web appointment for my in-laws 3 months back for Visitor visa and gave my name, my work and home numbers for contact information.

Now, I am planning to quit my job and will try to find a job soon. Because of this now I am planning to send my wife's papers( Employment letter, Letter of support etc..)

Is it OK to send my wife's papers since I gave my name as contact information when I took the appointment for my in-laws.

Thanks in advance.

Re:parents-in-laws visitor visa

Hi

There is no problem in your wife sponsoring her parents visa but she has to be in legal status and be employed. In-laws need to prepare their application forms DS-156 (for Non-immigrant visa application with correct and apt
information)

If you have any clarifications contact me at menakarajendran@gmail.com

Have a Nice Day!

Thank you for the reply.

Yes, my wife is in a legal status (Green Card) and employed. In the DS-156 form there a box where it asks for "Name and Telephone Numbers of Person in U.S. Who You Will Be Staying With or Visiting for Tourism or Business".

I gave my name and phone number as contact information when I took the Web appointment. Now my wife will give her name and phone number for the question above, which does not match up with the appointment information. Is it OK?

Thanks
