I am currently on H1-b but was laid off two weeks ago. I planned to change my status to B2 visa while looking for a job. My boyfriend is applying for his citizenship and we plan to get married after he got his citizenship. Would I face any problems getting married while I am on a B2 visa? Here are my two options and please advice:-
Option 1: Get married now while he's on GC and don't apply for B2.
Option 2: Apply for B2, and wait until he got his citizenship (probably about 4 months) then get married.
