B2 Visa - Applying for Green Card

Hi All,

I have a question regarding getting sponsered (by my brother who is a US Citizen ) for a Green Card while holding on a 10 year multiple entry Visitor Visa. My question is can I use my visitor's visa while waiting for my Green Card application to be processed?

What is the validity of your I-94 when you entered. That determines you legal status in US not multiple entry visa.
 
Brothers of US citizens come under quotas and may be backlogged upto several years. Once an application for your immigration is filed it is almost impossible to get a visitor visa. if you already have a visa you might get sent back at the airport by US immigration.
If you are already in the US then filing a green card application offers you no benefits; you are required to leve US before your term expires.
