My mom and dad applied along with my brother applied for visitor visa at Chennai but their applications were rejected. But they dont have anything in writing that it was refused. Should there be a stamp on the passport that it has been rejected (maybe 214(b) stamp??) or will they give a letter stating that it was rejected?

What does it mean if they dont have any stamp? will it be in their system (I am pretty sure it will be :(

ALSO

the next appointment I could get for them is only in Oct. Sept is all booked. Generally will people drop out at the last minute?? I plan to keep checking twice a day to see if any slots open up. It is kinda urgent that we get an early appointment..

thanks!

appts

Hi, Generally you will see appointments open up around 7 pm EST. But in reality, you should keep checking throughout the day.. I managed to get my in-law's appt preponed by 20 days by constantly keeping an eye on the available appts
