My parents went for visitor visa stamping on Sept 13 to Mumbai and got rejected under 214 (b). US consulate did not look at any of the papers which i sent for sponsoring them or other supporting documents. They just asked 1 question and that is whether u have been outside India anytime and they said "No" thats it. When my dad asked whether u need to look at the papers they said there is no need.
The only reason why it could have happened is that Sept 13 was monday and the first working day after Sept 11...
Any suggestions as what can be done for them to get the visa..
