B2 extension rejected!!

I just received the letter. My parents extennsion application has been rejected. My original reason for extension was to have them spend more time with family. But now, a health issue has come into picture. The doctor that they have seen here has agreed to provide a letter stating that they should not travel for the next some months. Push comes to shove my parents are willing to travel, although I would not like them to travel in this condition.

My question is what should I do.

1. Should I request USCIS to withdraw the decision and grant them an extension. Is that possible?
2. If they were to leave within a couple of weeks of us receiving the denial letter, will there be a chance that they wont be granted six months stay here next time they visit me (they have ten year multiple entry visa)

Please help me in making a decision soon. Since the letter has emphatically stated that they are not in valid immigrant status mode and they should depart, although it doesnt specify before when. Thanks in advance for your help.

Another B2 extension rejected

My in-laws B2 got rejected at California service center. Letter says that reason for extension was not sufficient and no supporting documents for owning property abroad. Reason that we provided for their extension was travelling to other parts of the country.

When was it applied

Could you please give me some more details on when you applied for extension, what was the I-94 dates originally and when was it denied? I am also applying for extension of my parents-in-laws and want to know if i should or not.
