On seeing the envelope, my first thought was that I received a rejection notice because of the early reply & the fact that my mother has been here for more than 2 years. After opening, I was suprised to see the approval notice.

Do not have a return ticket. Do not have a job myself. Submitted only bank statement & letter. However I did e-file the application. That could have made the difference.

Most of all I can't believe it was approved even before the I-94 expiry date. Applied in December 20th. Is there anyone out there with such a speedy approval ?. I am curious.

Hi,

Congrats...Which service center you have submitted the application.
what are the reason mentioned for extension ?

Thanks

Same here

My parent's extension application approved in 23 days from VSC. Applied on Dec 20th, got approval emails today. Was not efiled..

Parent's approval

Same here... I applied thru mail in at VSC on 22 Dec 2004 and got the approval today. It seems VSC is really moving fast and doing really good work on B2 Extensions.

2 years

Please help - how did you manage to have your mother here for 2 years. I though if person comes for 6 months and then only one more 6 months extension is allowed. So max someone can stay is 1 year.

Kartheg2,

Congratulation!! This is a god magic since you are doing nobal cause for your mother.

My parents B2 extention also got approved for another 6 months from same Texas service center 35 days with out any issue although I send it by mail. I also didn't send a copy of return ticket and give same reason to visit west cost with grand kinds.

Kartheg2, I send you Privet message and wanted to talk to you on few things..

Will please reply to me on Private message.

Thank you!
