B1B2 status married with usa citizen

Hi...
im with valid b1b2 visa(entry till 1 sep 2011) just married(registered in court and waiting for marriage certificate) with usa citizen
plz tell me

1) can i live in USA after sep 1 without apply for adjustment of status bcoz it will take 2/3 weeks to get marriage certificate)

2) would my stay in usa legally count after 1 sep?

3) should i go to home country to avoid illgal count .....thanks

Once your B1/B2 authorized stay expires, if you haven't filed for AOS you will be illegally present and can be deported if caught in between the time your status expired and your filing for AOS.

You can go to the courthouse to request for a certified copy which you can use for your AOS application. You should be able to get that immediately.
